For several years, bituminous emulsions have been used in the road sector in various applica-tions: impregnation, stabilization, attack, surface treatments, etc. The bituminous emulsions are the O / A type where the continuous phase is water while the dispersed phase is the bitumen, in order to realize such a system it is necessary to resort to specific surfactants.The properties of emulsifiers are:- facilitate the emulsification by acting on the surface tension of the two phases;- stabilize the emulsion produced by disposing on the surface of the dispersed bitumen particles, preventing their cohesion.Our range of emulsifiers allows to make stable bituminous emulsions with the desired breaking characteristics.
